100 Project Challenge

Oh dear.. I have bought lots more crafting goodies, including a very cute House Mouse stamp that I just couldn't resist as it had a gingerbread man on!

I have decided to start the de stashing challenge again but set a more realistic target of 100, which hopefully I will get to before Christmas (so I can have crafty Christmas presents lol)

Here are projects 1-12. They are only teeny tiny 4 x 4 inch cards, but I have used a whole sheet of toppers, quite a bit of ribbon and some little die cut greetings in the inside of each card. Each card is also embossed but the camera didn't seem to pick it up very well.

88 projects to go....

Project

I had a break from knitting to complete this project. It is just a simple apron made using Cath Kidston style cotton fabric. It was really easy to make apart from the ruffle at the bottom which I just couldnt seem to make sit right. I did eventually get it right.... after many attempts.

Project 12

Just a plain granny square blanket for you today. I crocheted the 4 small squares in the middle, sewed them together and then crocheted around the whole lot. I have added a scallop edge on the blanket but you can't see it too well in the photos.
I add the teddy and the monster for scale. The blanket was only baby size so you can see how cute Irving is!

project 11

Another knitted project again today! This is another of Alan Darts designs. I won this pattern as a part of the Ravellinic games last year but have only just got round to using it. Piggy is a lot bigger than I was expecting and took nearly a whole 100g ball. He was great for stash busting! :)

Project 10

Here he is! Project 10. This is an Alan Dart pattern, I love his designs as they are so easy to follow. This one is available on his website but I also get Simply Knitting every month with one of his patterns in. This means I have load on my "to do" list but not enough time!

Project 9

I have been having ever so many problems with my blog over the last few weeks!! I almost gave up trying to post pictures but it has finally worked today. So here is the continuation of my 500 project challenge...

I do have to admit that I have failed with the challenge as I bought some new craft supplies! I have booked a trip to Disneyland during the summer so have bought some craft stuff to make a scrapbook. I have decided that I will let myself off lol. But I wont be buying any other craft things unless it is specifically for my scrapbook.

Here is project 9..

This is "Irving" from the big book of knitted monsters. He is knitted using patchwork wool from Habico. He is ever so soft and only a bit bigger than a tennis ball so is perfectly squishable!

Projects 4.5.6.7.8/500

These are my last minute Christmas Eve project! The crackers were from Paperchase and were just made from white card. I raided my 12 x 12 paper stash and tried to find some paper suitable for each person. Each cracker has a personalized gift and a tag so everyone knew which one was theirs! :)
