Christmas Polar Bear ( Project 2/500)
The pattern I used for this bear is actually meant to be a clown and is designed by Alan Dart, but I bought loads of white funky fur years ago and have finally nearly used it all up.
This bear is destined for my sister for Christmas and is a surprise so I hope she likes him!

Pom Pom Garland (Project 1/500)
Today I am starting my craft 500 projects before I buy more stash. I will allow myself to buy more glue or essentials (But I shouldn't need to!)
Here is project number one:
I bought a pom pom maker on Friday, and it makes 4 different sizes. Its quite addictive making them, and it uses up LOADS of yarn! Which is obviously a plus.
So far I have make a pom pom garland for my fireplace for Christmas but I will be trying to think of more pom pom related crafts soon, as they are mega quick to make!

Critter Sketch Challenge Buttons
This week over at the Critter sketch challenge we are challenging you to use buttons on your project.
If you're like me you will have loads of buttons already stashes away...but then have to go buy new ones for your card anyway lol. I just love these balloon buttons and think they go quite well with the Saturated Canary image.
I hope you can join us over at the challenge blog here - http://critterchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/

Critter Sketch Challenge
Im a bit late this week.. but there is still time for you to enter the Critter Sketch Challenge.
Come and join us here
This week the challenge is Washi Tape. Ive never used Washi tape before but bought some to have a go. Its a lot easier to use than I thought and works just as well as ribbon but it also picks up the colour underneath.
Here is my creation for the challenge, Hope to see you over at the blog!

Saturated Canary Part Two...
Back to the Saturated Canary digis today. The beautiful backing papers are from a paper pad I got agees ago. It was from Do Crafts and was part of the me to you Spring range last year. All of the colours are muted and in blues/pinks and pale greens. I'm having to use it slowly because I don't think they make it anymore : (
The die I used was from Marianne and is a large flourish, on this card it looked too big (its only 6 x 6 ) so I cut it in half and used one piece each side of the crochet flower.
I also tried Distress Inks again... I'm nearly getting the hang of it, but I do still keep getting some darker than I wanted areas so I will have to keep practising : )
